Cadillac Family Physicians Goes Totally Electronic!

As of March 28, 2005, Cadillac Family Physicians took a bold leap into the future of Healthcare with a move to Electronic Medical Records for all of our patients. This means that the Physicians will no longer be writing in paper charts and will instead use a computer in each patient room and in all encounters with our patients. The Physicians and Staff went through extensive training and orientation. It is our goal that the standard of health care provided at Cadillac Family Physicians will be enhanced by the technological advances of our system. With a little patience from our loyal patients we hope that our transition into this system will provide as little disruption as possible. New Addition to Our Staff

Joining us in August, 2005, will be Dr. Christiane M. Sanburn who will be providing the full range of family services, including obstetrics. Dr. Sanburn comes to CFP from The Chicago Medical School at The Finch University of Health Sciences and most recently from the Family Practice Residency Program at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Sanburn and her husband, Mark, are Michigan natives and are looking forward to joining our community.

New E-Fax Number for Providers to Use!

As of May 1, 2005, CFP is asking all healthcare providers to fax all patient-related correspondence to our new E-Fax line at (231) 779-7701. This will ensure that all patient correspondence destined for the Physicians' review will be electronically sent to the Physician and then on to the patient's electronic chart. Business correspondence and all non-patient related materials should still be faxed to the old fax number at (231) 775-2570.
